Port Introduction Zeebrugge

Want to get to know the Port of Zeebrugge better? During this port introduction, you'll gain a clear and practical insight into the activities and businesses operating in the Zeebrugge port area. In just half a day, we’ll familiarize you with the port’s industries and logistical flows. It’s a unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at this dynamic and diverse port ecosystem.  

For new employees at companies in Zeebrugge or for those just starting out in the port, it can be challenging to find their way right away. The port is a fascinating but complex environment, home to a wide variety of businesses and communities. That’s exactly what makes it so interesting and all the more valuable to explore and understand it better.

After a brief introduction, we’ll hop on the bus for a guided tour past terminals and companies. Starting in the outer port, we’ll drive through the transport zone and across the connecting bridge into the inner port. At each terminal, a company expert will join us on board to act as a guide and share insights from the field. We’ll wrap up at the ABC Tower with a short film and a panoramic view of the port.

By the end of this introduction, you’ll have a clear understanding of how the port operates and be familiar with its key players and companies. It’s the perfect way to kick off your career with a better grasp of your new professional environment! 

Program

8:45 AM – Welcome with coffee

9:00 AM – Short introduction

9:30 AM – Guided port tour by bus

12:30 PM – ABC Tower – short film at the visitor center (7th floor) & panoramic view

1:15 PM – Sandwich lunch 

2:00 PM – End of program (approx.)
